New Temporary Conforming Loan Limits Provided by the 
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

On Feb. 17, 2009, the President signed a new stimulus bill – called the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 into law. 
 
The table below explains three major impacts of the Act and the actions Bradford Real Estate Finance will be taking is to provide the benefits of this legislation to our customers as soon as it is implemented.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2/17/2009

FHA loansTemporarily revert to the higher loan amounts allowed in 2008 with the Economic Stimulus Act* loan limits. Effective March 4th, 2009. FHA loans must meet specific criteria as indicated in Table 2. 
Conventional loansTemporarily revert to the higher loan amounts allowed in 2008 with the Economic Stimulus Act or HERA 2009 permanent loan limits. Working together wil Fannie Mae and Freddi Mac, increases to the temporary loan limit will be available soon. More to come...
